How to Make a Caged Flower Bouquet

Phyllis Décor, Video 29 Comments

Flowers from the garden, especially roses, are a favorite of mine. The roses at our house are in full bloom, and I wanted to share with you a very special arrangement that is easy to assemble. The woody vines add the finishing touch to the creation. You can have fun substituting vines and branches from your garden as well.

With just a few steps, you will be arranging this caged flower bouquet in no time.

What are you favorite flowers for a display like this?

  1. I am definitely doing that.very beautiful and different. Love the idea of using something from your own yard.

  2. Phyllis, thank you for sharing this beautiful technique. next time the flower committee at church has flowers to rearrange and deliver, hopefully I can copy this and also show the other committee ladies how to do it. I’m always looking for easy, simple designs since we are just novices pretending to be florists every now and then ! You are a genius !

  3. What a lovely idea…thank you Phyllis. You continue to inspire. Unfortunately, the warm weather has not yet permanently arrived up here in Toronto…the grass is getting greener but sadly there is still little colour in the garden. At least you have given me something to dream about!

    1. Thanks for sharing superb informations. Your web site is so cool. I’m impressed by the details that you’ve on this web site. It reveals how nicely you perceive this subject. Bookmarked this website page, will come back for extra articles. You, my pal, ROCK! I found just the information I already searched everywhere and simply could not come across. What a perfect web-site.

    2. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

  4. You did it again! Clever and yet a classy way to give a personal gift to a friend. I have some elegant vases in storage now I can give them away
and make the gift myself, it will even mean more to my friends on the
receiving end. Bravo for lightening my morning! Love all your posts and
ideas for home and giving. Carmel

  5. This was such a pleasant surprise waiting in my inbox! The roses were lovely and I’m going straight out and try this.

  6. Lovely rose in a delightful arrangement.
Like you, my first choice would be roses for this arrangement. In our family white roses are traditionally used for both happy and sad occasions; thus, I’d use those. One of my childhood favorite flowers Bridal Wreath might be a nice addition to the stemmed cage.
I wonder if Verbenia would work in place of the roses?
Sweet idea. Thank you for sharing.
