  1. I have subscribed to several blogs over the years but never have I seen one as gorgeous, well planned or informative as yours! I also subscribe to your publications and keep renewing them for the same reason. Your standards are the highest in the industry and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the blessings you so generously share with your readers. God bless you.

  2. Beautiful video and beautiful arrangement. Now, please all you floristas, advise me on my weekly challenge of creating an arrangement in a 24-inch Baccarat vase for the foyer. I can’t use floral foam or marbles or pebbles or anything that would scratch the crystal, I can’t get floral tape to stick to the crystal to make a grid, and I need to make tall arrangements. I love this part of my job, but this vase is a pill sometimes.

    1. Have you tried the clear glass floral “frogs”? They fit inside and have holes that hold your flowers upright. Some antique ones are around. Also new ones can be found. Check the internet. I have mine from years ago.

    2. You could also use bamboo skewers cut to fit in an X at the top of the vase where they will be hidden by the flowers. Be certain to precisely cut the skewers to fit snugly in the vase. This has worked well for me in tall clear glass vases such as Waterford or other crystal.

  3. Can’t wait to watch the video and practice! I am pretty good with the dump and fluff method of arranging but am looking to expand my experience to formal arrangements.

  4. Stunning arrangement. Don’t forget to soak your floral foam in water first. Also a hint for a vase of all tulips…
add a bit of gin into the water. I also pierce the tulip with a straight pin at the base which “freezes” the bloom.
My tulip vase lasts about two weeks. If your tulips stretch for the sun simply wrap them (vase and all) over night
and they will stand up again.

  5. Thank you SO much for this step-by-step video. It gives me a glimmer of hope that I can dare to take the “first step”.
