Who Can Resist a Cinderella Story?

The renovations have been revealed! Just as Cinderella arrives at the ball, one of the most historic homes in Greensboro, North Carolina, has been renovated and is now open to the public. The Julian Price House remodel is much more than cosmetic updates; it’s an extensive work of historic preservation and style.

The Julian Price Home is a beautiful Tudor-style manor house, which includes over 30 rooms. After years of neglect, this home has been brought back to life like never before. Michael and Eric Fuko-Rizzo, who bought the home in January 2017, made it their goal to restore the home to its former beauty by recruiting more than 15 different design talents to get the job done. These designers were challenged to implement accurate and timely pieces with a touch of their personal style.

Of the designers showcased, you’ll find the work of Audrey Margarite of Bunny Williams HomeKim Hoegger of Kim Hoegger HomeMaria Money of Maria Money Interiors, Maria Adams of Maria Adams Designs, and many more!

It was such an honor for our very own Southern Home magazine to sponsor the Grand Opening reception for the Julian Price Home. In attendance were the featured designers themselves, along with about 200 guests.

From what I have heard, it was a magical evening with fun had by all. The weather was absolutely perfect for the outdoor-tented reception, where guest mingled until it was time for the highly anticipated reveal.

Today I’m sharing with you some of the wonderful details that I know you want to see!

The designers did a fantastic job, and kudos to the homeowners for having the vision to bring this home back to life. The Julian Price house is now open to the public. I highly recommend planning a trip to see this work of art! All proceeds will benefit Preservation Greensboro, a voice for revitalization in the city.
