A Tour of Ireland

Most of us love to travel, talk about our next trip, or even daydream about exploring a unique location for the first time. Last month, Victoria magazine posted an incredible tour of Ireland on their website. Every image absolutely blew me away, so I just have to share it with you.

Ireland’s charm is undeniable. Whether countryside or city, there is an Old-World magic to it all that is completely captivating. This article highlights elegant hotels, enchanting cities, quaint towns, and an elegant stately home!

I’ve shared a few images in this post, but for the full tour, visit Victoria’s website HERE.

  1. I have been to Ireland twice now. Once in 2007, solo, rode my bicycle around the Republic of Ireland, literally, around the entire country. Amazing! The next time was this past September, 2018. My youngest son and I did a road trip around the entire island, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Aside from the special time with my son, the best part of the trip was the night we got to spend in a castle. Not a room in a castle, the ENTIRE castle! A night to remember for sure.

  2. I enjoyed the feature on Ireland.Hope to see more on this beautiful country in future issues in Victoria. I love to read and study Irish history. I am trying to find more about my Irish ancestors. I have many books on the subject. Thank you for such a lovely magazine. Happy and Blessed Easter to you Phyllis and your family and staff.

  4. Thank you for the tour! It is a beautiful country and I’ve been there twice, my father was born in the small town Kilrush on the west coast and hopefully I’ll return with my husband so he will know what an enchanted land Ireland is!!

  5. I’ve visited Ireland five times and the country is calling me back again. I plan to visit next Fall.
The countryside and sea coast views are breath taking. The people are warm and light-hearted. The seafood is spectacular. The history, music and literature is fascinating.
Can’t wait to see those forty shades of green again!

  6. I went there in 1993 and I LOVED it. Some of my roots are Irish and in fact they told us that there were more Americans who have Irish roots than there are Irish in Ireland (or SOMETHING to that effect)!
It is as peaceful and green as the pictures in the story and the people are friendly and talented. They have some of the most beautiful souvenirs, and the music is lovely as well. I would surely enjoy a revisit!

  7. I too would love to visit Ireland one day. To the best of my knowledge, I have no Irish in my background but am constantly drawn to all things Irish! The photos are truly beautiful.

  8. My husband and I were fortunate to have visited Ireland several years ago. It was magnificent! The scenery is breathtaking and the people are very friendly and welcoming. It is so clean and green and the gardens and flowers are plentiful. Just a great place to visit.

  9. I haven’t been to Ireland but now I’d love to go. You’re right, Phyllis, the images in the Victoria website article are stunning. The descriptions of the beautiful Irish locations are powerful invitations to come and visit!

    1. I opened the comments to comment myself and here was another Martha saying exactly what I wanted to say! So, ditto!

  10. My husband and I spent a summer in Ireland. We lived in Dublin and traveled during the weekends. The people were welcoming and friendly, the food delicious and the sights and scenery magnificent. What a grand time we had that summer!
