Exclusive Tea Towel Giveaway

Phyllis Giveaway 65 Comments

I’m giving away one of TeaTime magazine’s new tea towels! Their online boutique has grown to now include whimsical shirts and precious tea towels. One lucky reader will win a beautiful tea towel featuring the There’s Always Time for Tea design. This design is one of Diana Hansen of White Flowers’ exclusive designs for Tea Time Magazine.

The towel is printed on soothing, one hundred percent, naturally sustainable linen, making them extra absorbent. This tea towel will soften with age and use, so not only will it look beautiful alongside your tea set, but it will feel amazing too. The There’s Always Time for Tea design is available in pink and blue. The winner will have the option to choose the color that best matches their tea set collection.

Enter for your chance to win below and good luck! This giveaway ends Tuesday, January 24, at 7 a.m. (central time).

  2. I have a nice collection of old linens, some I’ve re-embroidered. These would make a beautiful addition of my collection. Thanks so much for sharing.

  3. When I first read the journal entry all I noticed were the words tea towel and giveaway. Now I noticed more fun words – online store! I’m crazy over the shirts & tea towels! Can’t wait to go shopping!

  4. Lovely tea towels. Being an avid tea drinker and collector of tea towels, I have found myself recently succumbing to the ease of popping a keurig pod in the machine with a prepackaged tea or a purchased loose leaf tea. I have vowed to return to all the rituals and ceremony of an afternoon cuppa! It would be a delight to win a new tea towel in celebration.

  5. What gorgeous tea towels. I have subscribed to Tea Time almost from its beginning and love reading it from cover to cover. Good luck to everyone. Someone is going to be very happy!

  6. Dear Phyllis,

The tea towel is just so beautiful. It would look wonderful beside my tea sets. I would feel honored to win one. Thank you for you generous offer.

    With warm regards,
    Deb

  7. Judy,
You are the dear friend who introduced me to SOUTHERN LADY because of my relating to you the tea tradition of my Great Grandmother, Grandmother, Mother, and myself continuing with my daughter and Grand Daughter’s. You gave me the gift of this magazine several years ago which I renewed for myself and gifted to my sister, Kathy Highberger for 2 years now. I am so pleased and honored that you have called upon me to loan my many teapots and tea sets for your upcoming function. For the rest of readers…Judy and I graduated from
Immaculate Conception HS for Girls inMemphis TN in 1964. Mother McCauley, Founder of the Sisters of Mercy (who taught us) always loved the comfort of tea, and requested that a cup of tea be served to her mourners upon her death. It is a custom (Class of ’64) to host aTEA for for our graduating Seniors from our Alma Mater.

  8. I, like many others would absolutely love to win one of these beautiful tea towels to go with my pink roses china and tea set. Tea is a daily ritual for me, even often drinking hot tea in the summer mornings. My grandmother and I used to have tea together when I was a child and all of my growing up years. As I am 70, she has long ago passed away, but I think of her and my Mother often when having that “spot of tea”.

I have often thought of hosting tea parties for young children and may still be inspired to do so. I think that would pair itself well with learning manners and enjoying a perfect story books that just seem to go with tea.

Thank you so much for the publication of Victoria Magazine and others that keep the heart of the past alive. Ribbon in My Journal has been a welcome addition!

  9. It would make me proud to donate these towels to an upcoming Tea benefiting Books from Birth. We are gathering silent auction items, and I can just imagine the smiles when my friends would see this item.

  10. Love the tea towels and Tea Time Magazine. I have been a subscriber for many years. It is fun to take a tea break when the magazine first arrives. Simple pleasure.

  11. My daughter in law and I visited WHITE FLOWERS in Homewood
AL, it was a special treat. I love the store displays all in white,
so peaceful. We made several purchases and I can’t wait to go again. I live in OKLAHOMA so might be a while. Would love to win that lovely towel, love tea and I am a tea towel junkie!!!!

  12. There is a lovely lady in my church family that started a Mothers’ Day tea for our ladies. Every year she spends many hours organizing this lovely affair. I would so enjoy giving her this lovely tea towel as gift for her hard work. She loves Tea Time Magazine and most recently hosted a tea for her granddaughter’s bridal shower.

  13. I’m not the biggest tea drinker in the world, but I do enjoy a cuppa now and again! But, hosting Tea Parties is one of my favorite things…inspired many years ago by my favorite magazine in the world…VICTORIA! I enjoy my subscription to TEA TIME also. The towel is lovely. I’m sure who ever wins it will love it.

  14. I am currently planning a “winter white” tea for my friend and her daughter. I just purchased the new Tea Time and current issue of Victoria magazines for inspiration. These tea towels are exquisite. Thank you for the opportunity to win them. Good luck to all our fellow tea drinkers!!

  15. If I am the winner of this very lovely tea towel, I will use it in some manner at our library spring tea which is attended by a large number of women! Thank you for this lovely giveaway.

  16. There is no moment I love better than tea time. It is my own tradition since nobody in my family seems to do so. The idea came from your magazine Victoria which I am reading since 1987. Now, a lot of my friends are doing the same.
I still love coffee, but coffee is for the morning pause with a few pieces of chocolate. Tea is perfect in the afternoon accompanied by sweet treats.
Your tea towels are really nice pieces of art !

  17. Such lovely, delicate tea towels. I treasure the time I spend with my little grandchildren, a set of twins, a little boy and a little girl, having tea each time they come over. We use a little blue and white flowered tea set that I received from their grandfather when their older brother was born 12 years ago. That tea set has brought so much joy to all of us. We make memories each time we share tea together. Our little granddaughter would love the pretty tea towel.
Thank you for the opportunity to win such a lovely gift.

  18. How beautiful and dainty these tea towels are! I can see the on my tea table with my Wedgwood tea service. Having great every day at 3:30 pm is something I look forward to.

Your blog is such a delight, and I’m thrilled to have stumbled upon it.

  19. My grandmother had a pile of tea towels that I loved to go through as a little girl and now wish I had been able to keep a few. I picture her standing at the huge country sink, washing/rinsing dishes and I, getting to help her dry and put away the dishes, using her lovely tea towels. The sweet memories…

  20. These tea towels are so beautiful and dainty.
I would be very happy to win one of them.
It’s these special things that bring us joy
and make a house our home. Thank
you for the chance to win and for your
    lovely magazines.

  21. My Mom and I had tea at 4 in the afternoons. She passed 4 years ago and I always remember those times as the best. I would love the tea towel – so sweet, like Mom.

  22. This would make a lovely addition to my tea table along with all I incorporate from Tea-Time magazine and this blog! Thank you for this opportunity.

  23. Yes Please! I would love having one of the beautiful linen Tea Towels. Thank you for the offer. I am enjoying reading “The Ribbon in my Journal.”

  24. Both towels are lovely, so delicate looking. I wondered to myself where my love of tea came from and I cannot come up with a good answer other than the fact that I do not like coffee. Soon I will be 75 years old and I have yet to have a cup of coffee. But I have had literally gallons of tea in every flavor you could ever imagine. My granddaughter who is expecting my first great grandson soon, has inherited my love of tea. We enjoy having our cups of tea together. If I should win a towel, I will let you decide which one I get.

  25. How lovely! Thanks for the chance to win – it would be perfect with my pink and purple flower tea set inherited from my paternal grandmother.

  26. These would make such a cute gift for my Mama. I would love to try some ribbon embroidery on these. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!
